got my cr80r blew the piston replaced it with the one out of my ds80 which is a .5mm cr80r .7mm will it work and if the piston is at top dead center you cant see the rings right and when it is at bottom dead center you can see them perfect and there is a very small port uncoverd right

Where are you getting the .5 and .7 mm measurements? It really isn't clear what you are asking other than if it will work, could be part of the problem with lack of responses.

To find out if it will work you need to get measurements of several things on the piston.

#1--diameter of piston....is the piston the right size for your cylinder with rings installed. Find out if your cylinder has been bored and what size piston that bore takes.
#2--location of the wrist pin....You need to measure the piston that was removed from the wrist pin hole to the top of the piston. If it is closer to the top of the piston it will lower the compression and not run very well. If it is closer to the bottom than the piston you removed it will (at bare minimum) raise compression and possibly cause detonation, or worst case scenario, smack the piston against the head causing damage to most every part of your engine.
#3--length of piston skirt....This is the area below the wrist pin and is important to keep the piston from rocking back and forth (piston slap) as it travels up and down the cylinder. Different engine combinations require different skirt lengths to keep this in check.

There are other factors to consider but these three will let you know really quickly if the piston will work while still being easy to measure. If any of the three are different the piston wont work. If they are the same post again on here and I'll let you know what else to check.

You can reach 79cc in different ways. You can have a small bore and long stroke, short stroke and large bore, or you can have various combos in between that make 79cc.

If the piston is taller than the original, I wouldn't use it. It will raise your compression (at least) or hit the head. It will probably shroud the intake and exhaust ports as well. Sounds like you need to spring for the correct piston.
