I have seen alot of people on here with an 87 foreman 350, who have had no spark, or spark some of the time, and I have the same problem and was wondering if anyone has figured it out. I have tried the cdi, coil, pulse generator, and alot of wire connections, with no luck. Can anyone please help.

 

Alot of times, on older Hondas, the issue is the stator. After so many years of heat cycles, the wires become brittle,and one of the tiny wires finally breaks... and when it warms up, the gap gets big enough on the broke wire,to open the circuit and kill the spark
