Default Rearend Leak

Great forum!! I have a 2001 Rubicon 500 and the rearend seal is leaking on the left hand side. I was wondering if someone could tell me the size of the casslenut on the rearend shaft. I need to get a socket so I can fix it when I go back to Georgia. Thanks

I don't have a Rubicon but you can call a local Dealership and ask to talk to their shop foreman , or one of the machanic's ; and if they're a good Dealership they will give you the info !

And even if the Dealership isn't a good one you could ask them for the price of the seal and bearing , and ask them the size of the nut ; they would tell you then for sure !

Good Luck welcome to the forums , and have a safe and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year ! ...........

Thanks guys! The mech at the honda dealer near me said he doesn't know, I asked when I bought the seals. I will have to look in the service manual again.

You will need a 30mm socket to remove the hub nut
