Default 2001 Honda Rubicon

Nice to hear ... I'll be purchasing one shortly assuming of course my trouble code 9 repair stays below the monthly cash limit.

I'm assuming a power winch lift is the way to go ...... Can't imagine dealing with the pains of a manual lift.

Default 2001 Honda Rubicon

Hi dcdlexmass,
I have to chime in on the 01 Rubicon. I bought one new in Jan 01. I live on an 80 acre tree farm. I have used the Rubi for plowing the roads that I have around this farm which is about 1 1/2 miles. It is TOUGH plowing. I can't praise the performance of my Rubicon enough. It's not the best at everything. But, it is a working beast. I replaced an old tractor with the Rubicon for pulling downed trees off of the trails. Even my neighbors are impressed with what I can do with this quad.
I have made the following changes/updates to mine: Highlifter lift kit, Highlifter fender kit. 27" ITP Mudlite XTR[ for winter only], Warn utility plow, Warn Cyclone plow, an awesome windshield/fairing from Cabelas, Warn 424, and hand & thumb warmer from Cabelas.
Not the best riding quad, but it excells everywhere else.

Thanks for the added info & comments ...... Looks like I'll be adding one to mine shortly!

No added weight or chains required? ...... Now that's really good news.
