300ex vs Blaster
#2
The 300ex is better in my opinion, I have ridden both quads, and the blaster can't keep up with the 300ex It also depends on what type of power you like, (2 stroke or 4 stroke). Keep in mind you get a lot more for your $$$ if you get the blaster though. If you are going to spend $4,800 for the 300ex you should just spend an extra $900 and buy the 400ex, but the blaster is only $3000 I would eather go for the blaster or 400ex I would rule out the 300ex right away.

If you spend the $900 in mods to even keep up with the 400ex then you void the warranty, plus the 400 has better suspension and has a bigger frame and much, much more comfortable to ride on, I know this because I have a 400ex and my stepdad has a 300ex. I have ridden both of them a lot.

red dogs got a point with the money thing but i would just get a used 300ex and buy tons of after market action for it. my freind has a blaster but he cant even keep up with my suzuki 230.

I have both.If I where only to have 1 qaud out of the 2 it would be the 300ex.electric start and reverse is real nice.Even though my 300ex isn't the fastest thing on the trails I can ride it all weekend and not get bored.I used to jump the crap out of it till I broke a shock. Now I just ride on trails going slow and exploring. It is an excellent bike for this.My blaster is fun to ride to but is easy to stall in the woods when there is no trails and has no reverse.Plus my 300ex doesn't make the nrighbors mad with the noise. My 300ex and blaster top out about the same but in a drag race unless it is a real long one the blaster will win.

You people are all crazy, saying a blaster won't keep up with a 300ex. A blasters top speed is proven to be 3 miles an hour faster than a 300ex. It has great handling, just like 300ex. I weigh 203 lbs. and 5'6. I rode with some pro guys that I met on the trails that were riding where I ride. There was a 300ex, 400ex 250r and a tecate. They all had mods. The 250r and 400ex left the 300ex, tecate and I. I was riding as hard as I ever had and was right on the 300 ex butt. Knowing that I am not a pro and only 14, and I was keeping up with these guys, I would say a blaster is not a bad atv and with a little mods and an expierenced driver it can beat a lot of the top quads and beat 300ex. But I must say you can't beat a honda in reliability, but a blaster can take a beatin.

all i got so say is that i have a 300ex and my good friend has a blaster, and that the 300ex has really good handleing and suspension but the blaster has really sh**y suspension. also the blaster has way better take off than the 300ex and the top ends speeds are pritty much the same, when we race were pritty much dead even. also my friend has to do alot of mantinece on his blaster. alot of stuff on it has broke and he has had to replace it. In my opinon i'm glad i got the 300ex i havent had any troubles and i love the handleing, and its not hard to keep up with all the 400 and the banshees, so dont rate the 300ex out its a really nice quad.
