since i put on my snowplow, first year using it, my battery has died 3 times and i have had to jump start my rancher with my wifes recon. it seems since i have been using my winch more my battery cant handle the pressure. is there a good battery out there that can handle the pressure? or is my "alternater", i know i dont have an alternater i just can remember what its called that charges the battery, not doing its job?

My personel perferance is Interstate Batteries. However most any battery will suffice if maintained properly. In the winter when I am using my plow alot, I always hook up a battery minder after ever use and leave it on the bike till I use it again. If the battery has cell caps........check the water level at least once a month.

Your generator output is 0.343 kW/5,000 rpm....which is very substantial.
I would suggest that because you are operating for long periods at low rpm and high drain, your generator isn't being given any chance to recharge your battery before you shut the engine off.
Like suggested above, put a battery minder on it every time!
