06 honda rancher AT-Angle sensor set up procedure?

Default 06 honda rancher AT-Angle sensor set up procedure?

what is the initial setting procedure after the sensor is relaced? how do u reset the computer?

code 5 shows up then sometimes it will change to code 6, i bought the new angle sensor but now i have to reset the ecm do anybody have a service manual to tell me the procedures?, thanx!!


06 Honda Rancher 400AT, 2" lift, 26/12/12 mud lites rear, 26/10/12 mud lites front, ITP chrome rims, HMF slip on pipe, exhaust wrap, K&N filter, outwears prefilter wrap, Dyno jet kit, customized snorkle with differential and carb vent lines ran up with snorkle, 2000lbs superwinch, warn front bumber with warn trail lights

Did you pre-load the angle sensor when you installed it ..?..

yea i preloaded the sensor, now im gonna go try these procedure wish me luck!

ok well i got all the steps complete intil i get to where it has me press the throttle and after that step i cant get the "N" light to come on, dont know what im doing wrong....

Try it again .. Holding both "up/down" buttons in ..Turn on the ignition.. As soon as you see the dash come on release the "up/down " switches and push up,down,up then wait a second and bleap the throttle from idle to full throttle twice ..

Thanx guys i got it figured out now, on the throttle procedure its different then on here with the specs, within 5 secs after u see the "--" u hear the control motor cycle and while its still cycling through then u press the throttle and it will change to the constant "N"
