Default 84 big red 3 wheeler rear brake removal

my rear brakes frooze up and I pushed the 3 wheeler back and forth to free them , now they do not spring back or work at all. I removed the brake cable and bolts from the rear brake cover and the 2 large nuts on the axle but cannot get the cover to come off , there seems to be a seal between the axle and cover that will not budge. I can rotate the cover but cannot get it to come off. does anyone know how to get it off or have some directions with pictures that they can send me. Please someone let me know. Thanks , Vic

I did not do that , I will try that today, Is that all I need to do to access the brakes or is there more things I need to know. Your pics are great. Is there any chance that you could send me all the steps to rear brake change for this 3 wheeler ? My e-mail is mcquay5@yahoo.com. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again , vic

I took the o-ring off that is between the axle and the bearing and still no luck with getting it off , I can still rotate it though . but it will not budge as far as getting it to come off. Is the bearing pressed on or is there something else holding the brake cover from coming off ?? any help would be great

The bearing is on a splined collar , the splined collar slides on the axle...

I emailed you the section from the 1984 ATC200 BigRed PDF shop manual ..
