Ok, so I've read lots of stuff on here about the odyssey (thanks everyone). I've darn near replaced, painted, and cleaned every thing on my Oddy. Now that things are back together, the plug is giving me fits!!!!!
Here's how it is. The switch is working. I've tested it with a light, and in the machine. I have a brand new coil, plug and plug cap. The stator coils were tested at the dealer and are like new.
Now the rest of the story...
When everything is hooked up, I can't get the spark plug to spark against the head, or against the metal frame. If I take the plug out, hold on to the plug cap, I get no shock. HOWEVER, if I hold onto the plug cap (touching the inside metal) and place my hand on the head, frame or roll cage, ZAP! I get hit really good. I have run grounds to every part of the frame, roll cage, motor, engine cradle, you name it. I know I'm getting spark, but it's not getting to the coil so I can see the blue flame!!! Someone please help me. I don't have much hair to pull out these days.

Well, if you can spark from the coil, but the plug cant, id say it was the plug. Try one that you KNOW works. That means start up a motorcycle and make sure it runs, then take the plug out of the head, test that plug on that machine for spark (hold it to the head, or a good ground, ya know test it) then if its good, take that plug and stick it in to the odyssey coil, hold it to ground, and then try it. If it works, then your original plug is bad. If it dosent work, then its not the plug, its something else.
Hope that helps.
