Yep, I hated to call and tell them I would be coming on Saturday. They were fine with it. I bet if I miss that day they won't hold it anymore...lol. No probs on weather though, my brother and I are going in our 16 foot box truck. Good ole Penske comes in handy when we need it. He is going to get a 2007 Recon. Can't wait!
Enjoy your ride tomorrow!

Well guys I am finally back. Got some bad news though. I was little late getting down to Ritchie Powersports today. I had planned in being there around 11 or 12 but didn't get there till 3pm. I was little worried the 420 red Rancher manual shift was gone, but thought "no...they saved it for me" Well when I got their my suspicions were confirmed. The one I wanted was gone!
Talked to the salesman and he was nice and simply said he didn't think I was coming. I guess I should have called.
Soooo they had a blue 2007 Rancher with the ES. I was afraid to pull the trigger on that one so I bought a 2007 red Recon with manual shift. Not the one I wanted, but still a good buy. I got it for $2633 out the door. No doc fees, or anything else. Of course I do have to pay Virginia taxes on it when I title it but I still got one helluva deal.
Everybody there was very nice and helped load up the new machine. I got her home late or I would have taken some pics. I will tomorrow. I hope ya get the 420 JSG because I will want to hear about all the fun you are having on it! As for me, I will ride the hell out of my little Recon and keep my Outlander 800 for the big rides. Now all i gotta do is find that one post about adding the little hour meter on it. Thanks for all the help guys!

The Recon is a fun ride. If you are use to a big ute, it will feel like an absolute toy!
The 250EX is based off the Recon. We did a snow ride yesterday in the local mountains, and after a mile or so we swapped off bikes and I let the kids ride the Ranchers and I spent most of the day tearassing around on the little 250...pure fun!

Well, I'm sorry that your Rancher was gone. My original plan was actually to get the Recon. It's less expensive, and you can pretty much go all of the same places. I wouldn't feel bad about that at all. I could actually get the Recon (07's on sale here) for $3000 out the door. That is a full $1200 less than what I will pay for a Rancher. I wonder if that is something I should consider? It will only be for trail riding. I doubt I will be one of those mud pit guys.
