Default DC Accessory Plug on 93 Fourtrax 300FW, What is it?

Gentlemen, bought this machine and replaced this plug, but what the heck is it, and what is it used for? I was expecting a DC socket style plug but this ain't it. Any help would be great.

There should be 2 parts to it, although people manage to lose them alot as I rearely see used ones that still have both ends. If you have both, the one end will simply pull off and unplug from the fixed end. On the part you take off, you have a plug inside that you can take a small screwdriver and pry out. Then you take the wires of whatever you want to use and push them through the hollow end and then wrap the wires onto the screwson the part that you pryed out. Insert the plug backinto the sleeve. Now all you have to do is plug and unplug your accessory.

When I did this I wired in a cigarette lighter plug and mounted it onto the front plastic piece that the ignition switch and indicator lights are on. That way I can plug and unplug whatever I need without having to manipulate the accessory outlet every time.

Bingo trx300man, that's it. The old one was broken off at the bracket, and I ordered a new one, and all the pieces came with it as well. Thanks for the info.
