Any suggestions for what muffler would do good for this? I can't seem to find a lot of selection for a 420es Rancher.

I'm looking as well. Some manufacturers may have them fabricated or in development, but don't have them up on their web sites yet.

Could everybody list what they have found or purchased....

Thanks!

Allow me to demonstrate my newbness by asking.....why are you replacing the muffler on a new ATV?

Seems to me he's wanting more power from his quad so he's upgrading exhaust. I wonder if there's anything you could do to upgrade the fuel system on FI similar to what a jet kit would do for a carb?

By increasing the amount of air going in and out of your engine, you can usually net a substantial increase in performance. Plus, stock setups tend to be rather heavy.

This is a hot little engine, so I am going to hold out for a high performance muffler.

FMF makes the PowerCore IV for the Rancher 350, so they should be coming out with one for the 420 any time. (Guess I need to call them and bug them about it!!!) I have had it on several sport quads in the past, and it's a nice high preformance unit!
