See your owner's manual!

The plug is way down in the head, and your tool kit contains a plug wrench. It isn't very sophisticated, but it is what will work best.......

But, I'm betting you don't have either an owner's manual or a tool kit...right????

I lost the cheap, (but effective), tool that comes with the bike. I bought a nice socket from the dealer. It is an 18mm spark plug socket, and it is about 4 inches long. If you have a 18mm deepthroat socket it should work, just be careful not to break the porcelain!

None of the high quality sockets I have tried, has worked as well as the crappy one that comes in the stock tools.

Another alternative is to just pull the fuel tank off, so you can get to the plug without going through contortions.
