Oil in airbox in Rancher

I've got a Rancher ES 2X4 and i just changed the oil in it. I checked the dipstick and the oil was between the two lines. A few days later, I looked in the airbox and there was oil in the bottom of the box. THere wasn't much, but it was more than just a little. The tube that the box drains into was also full of oil. Is this bad? What can I do to fix it?

Chet, I have seen numerous postings about this. Mine does the same thing. I my opinion, the lines on the dip stick are wrong. If you fill the motor with oil to the upper mark, oil will go up the crank case breather line and empty in the air box. I just change the oil like the manual says, clean the oil out of the air box after the first ride, and forget about it.

I have the same problem with my 4x4ES.
The manual says the oil level should be between the full and add mark ater it has warmed up 5 to 10 mins.Mine is down to the add mark and im still getting some oil in my air box.
I havent been riding any wheeles or climbing stee
p hills.Just riding in the snow alot.
Id like to know were other rancher owners keep there oil level when warm.
P.S. The oil level on mine when cool is neer the full mark.
