Default honda 90 carb adjustment-how to manuals?

I am wanting to find out where I can find manuals that will help teach me more technical advise on working on these things. Actually atv's in General but especially at this point in time- this carb. I have a Clymer manual and a Hanes. The problem is- they are to general in what they cover. I mean half of what is printed in them I can do with my eyes closed. There are some things in them that I don't know yet, especially engine internals, but I want to learn to work on them from a more MECHANIC standpoint. I am considering opening a shop someday. Where can I find material that will teach me this? Thanks!

The library has some good books, and usually the factory service manuals get into better detail. Theres also a surprising number of sites online, which are very good. Try doing some google searches. I have a few carb specific textbooks, and they come up for sale on ebay now and then, and usually quite cheap. The information in them, apply to all carbs, all brands.
The engines all work on the same theory, and so do carbs. If you learn the basics, which apply to all engines, it makes it simpler to understand the small details, and minor differences of the different brands.
There are schools, and aprenticeships. Probably your best bet, is to talk to a local dealer, and see if he can help you get started. There are entry level jobs, which if you advance, can lead into some very good jobs. But its almost always easiest to start work for someone else, on their dime, learn whats necesary,( make mistakes while someone is around to get you back on track) and decide if its for you, before you strike out on your own. It would be very difficult, to just read books, and then open a shop...I can almost gaurentee, itll go out of business, because a business is much more than just wrenching.
Check out this item on ebay 350030094547 , it could go pretty cheap.

Thanks, I will check all this out. I have a business background, several years of retail management experience. I also already do repair work on the side with atv's and lawnmowers as long as they are not too technical. I sell mower parts now as well.

I just think I want to learn the MORE technical side and get into the repair and parts and accessories full throttle.
