My friend wants to buy the 440 bigbore kit for his 400. Does he have to do any bottom end work to the motor with that kit? thanks

87' 250x mods soon to be.. maxxis razrs front and rear on douglas.190's, supertrapp shorty pipe, hope to find a bigbore kit of some sort, and +2 swingarm.

 

No you wouldn't have to do any bottom end work. But I have a question. Does the 440 kit have a high compression piston.

 

I know of a 11.0:1 piston for the 440. I'm sure there is something higher out there.
