I am having a hard time getting my 1992 Honda 300 trx atv to stop leaking fuel. Everytime that I am done riding it I have to turn the fuel valve off or it will overflow fuel. The fuel comes out of the overflow line. I have taken it apart several times and cleaned it and also to it to the dealer and a machine shop but still no luck. The float and valve look like they are in excellent shape. Could it be the primer valve?

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this leak?

 

I'd say its the float and or valve. I've had many leak, taken them apart to find it all looking great but still leak. It only takes a miniscule particle of dirt to cause it to stick, i'd pick up a rebuild kit and replace the needle valve.

 

mine started doin that the other day but i didnt rebuild it. i just cleaned it out really good and the lines too and then put a small filter inbetween the line goin from the switch off valve to the carb and fixed it right away.
