Just curious all my friends seem to think that a banshee is the fastest stock quad. But I know there have to be faster quads available now. Whats your thoughts?

 

525 motored sport ATVs, Polaris's or KTM's. Fastest stock motorcross engine but in any ATV will be fast.

800 Can Am Renagade or the new 1000 artic Cat could also be.

 

banshee is not even close to the fastest stock quad.
quadzilla
ktm525
raptor 700
all 450s
are pretty much faster than a shee stock vs stock. and other than the zilla have way better suspestion

 

Yup, gotta go with the 450's here..atleast off the line anyways...

 

The Shees day has come and gone. Lots of faster machines out there now!

 

Really the question is what is you definition of fast? Top speed? Fastest machine to hit the top speed? Quick off the line? 1/8 mile times? My guess is there will not be one quad that would win everyone of these categories.

 

i belive everyone can agree that the fastest quad ever built was the quadzilla ( the king of 2 strokes ). but if you are talking about recent made atv's, then the 525 outlaw is the fastest accelerating quad on the market. tho i belive the rappy 700r will beat it on top end and i know from experience, the outlaw will have a hell of a head start. the banshee's are sick little bikes and i love the unique style they have to them, but they are not the fastest quad out the box, you can not compare a apple to a watermelon. tell your freinds they need to research their quads a little better.
