i was reading the april issue of dirtwheels and they said the 450r was the fastest in drags (along with the yfz) but in atv sport they said it was one of the slower ones i dont know who to beleive lol personally i wanna beleive dirtwheels lol cause i just bought a 450r

 

i recentley raced a kawasaki 450r and i beat by a good bit, this was on the black top with a 500 foot strip. their might be a faster 450r out there but i out ran that on in a drag race. depends on the driver mostly.

 

He is talkin about the honda. And of course your outlaw 525 beat it. I will beat any of the 450s. As for is it the fastest. I honestly dont think so. I think the ktm, polaris, and maybe ds and ltr could get it. The not sure on the ds and ltr stock but the ktm and polaris prob would. The 450r is still nice and fast though. I wouldnt regret buyin it!!!

My experience is that Ditrhwheels is correct! You add in an HRC kit, and the Honda will absolutely kill anything that is stock.

Notice that I said stock! All these machines have lots of hop-up potential, so what happens when they are all mod up is another question entirely....

 

If the pro circuit means anything, then the 450R is still the best. Problem is all the pro riders are switching to other bikes now and leaving Honda high and dry. Mainly because Honda doesn't have full factory support of its riders.
