Hey guys, I am a newbie here and to ATV's in general. I know for sure that I want a Honda 300. I am sure I will be posting many more questions later on this ATV so please be patient with me. Here's a few to start with. Much thanks in advance.
1. Are 4by4 300's full time 4 wheel drive?
2. I want the toughest model I can buy, wouldn't it be the 300 2by4?
3. I have seen deals of $3500 for a 99-00 model 2by4 300, is this good pricing?
4. What has your experience been with the 300's.
5. What are these ATV's stock top speed?
I am more interested in the 2by4 model right now for the fun 2wheel drive many times offers. Thanks

Had a 1997 2x4 , loved it, was very reliable, beiefly submurged it, flipped it end over end down a clff, (had to hang it inna tree witha come-along to straighten out the racks) never failed to start. Hope my Rancher does as well, good luck and enjoy whatever you decide to get.

yes they are full time 4 wheel drive. I ride with my brother in law and he has a 3004x4
he rides this bike hard, he does not abuse it but
it is ridden in all kinds of weather and terrain.
during the week he uses it to mow grass at his house. Consider the riding conditions when you decide to get 2 or 4 wheel drive...mud and snow will slow down a 2 wheel drive.
