Hi I am new to the site and this is my first post. I've been riding for 20+ years in the PA coal region. Anyway here's my problem.

I bought a used 03 honda trx300ex which looked in fantastic and in awsome shape. The seller told me all it needed was a piston and ring kit. I know I shouldnt believe him but I saw the quad and said wow this is in awsome shape, so i bought it. But I took the top half off and saw that the crank was seized and metal falkes where visible. I Called around a few repair shops and prices range from 1200 to 1500 to fix it.

So my question is what other motors will fit this model or where can a get a bottom half motor for a decent price.

Please dont bust my stones about this either....I'm a freakin a$$.
