Default 400ex new carb

Is a new carb worth it? I have a 07 with a dr.d slip on, k&n air filter with no air box lid. i have i dyno jet but i haven't jetted it yet because i'm wondering if i should buy a new carb. if so, i have a few questions. what would be the best carb? how is installing the new carb? and what kind of power difference should i expect to see? thanks

u should just jet the carb it's not hard especially if you have a manual or directions. a lot of people who get edelbrock carbs for there qauds usually dont like them, i heard they bog down the qaud quiet a bit, plus there about $500 some dollars. if you are going to plan on customizing your engine a lot in the future then i would wait until you are done with your mods becasue then you would have to go back in carb and adjust the needle and the fuel.
