try taping on the cdi while you are turning it over. i had some problems with mine. i ended up having to replace the pulse generator and the cdi.

Honda mechanic doesn't seem to have been around for a while. Just googled the diagram and got https://www.trxforums.com/threads/19...diagram.31171/ scroll down, copy the diagram then enlarge it.
