Diogenes - well, we can conclude from your message and B370's that we can account for at least 2 minutes which prove P.T. Barnum correct.
I also suspect you just proved Darwin's theories correct and gave us another clue as to the existence of "the missing link." I bet it's a real bummer finding a helmet, eh?
Ha! That's why you won't join the full throttle club...the hat won't fit! LOL
Thanks for the good humor.

But yet we all want it now, Yesterday,,,,the full version with pic's and commentary.
Embrace the masses in stride Delegate the talent,,, it's still the WWW west. I don't care what anybody says about the Internet crash,,,Everybody I know is still busy as hell.
Now powered by Macromedia!
I almost broke the font rule on this on.
I'm going to sleep.

"I encourage those of you who are attempting to chastise B370 on our behalf, not too."
I saw (read) the way you, Dave Becktrsom treated b370 on the thread that was deleted. In the retail business, that type of "customer service" woulnd't be tolerated. Is it so frightened that some wouldn't agree with your views on the FTC membership and say something on here about it? Maybe you can fool some teenageers, but you can't fool the grown-ups. And, we're the ones with the cash.
I'll respect your right to make a buck for this "information" service somehow. Maybe it's the "FTC" site that'll do it for ya, maybe it won't be. I've got more hats than I know what to do with right now thanks.

MNT
While I agree to a point, with your thoughts on “customer service”. How would you deal with a [non-customer] who seems to like to cast stones through the cyber storefront meanwhile enjoying all the benefits of browsing through this free service.
In the real world of “retail Business” If you had this person walk into your store for which you spend many hours to make pleasant. And start screaming and bitching about the way the store looked,,,, Would you not call security and have the man removed from the store?
But yet he is still here? Draining resources, sponging information and from what I can see,, not contributing to anyone’s common good?
MNT I would suggest standing in the shoes of the storeowner and suggest to me how to deal with the lunatics?
May we let the moments of stress induced rants triggered by morons be bygones?

trx430ex,
You make good points. However, I think b370 wasn't being beligerant (sp?) and things like that. He spoke his mind and like above, let it go.
"How would you deal with a [non-customer] who seems to like to cast stones through the cyber storefront meanwhile enjoying all the benefits of browsing through this free service."
"Non-customers" are why this site exists in the first place. Now, its trying to move on to larger avenues for revenue.

You make a good point. But, it didn't seem b370 was saying the store looked bad. The fact of being told there is more "news" on this site than any site on the web, and now have to pay for even more news is kind of a contradiction. (If we have the most for free now, why do we have to pay for more....when there can't be more, if we already have it all) A login name of Diogenes raised that point.
"But yet he is still here? Draining resources, sponging information and from what I can see,, not contributing to anyone’s common good?"
Everyone who is "sponging" from any site is contributing to the success of the site's hit count or whatever you want to call it. Therefore, making it attractive to banner ads and revenue types of things like that.
"MNT I would suggest standing in the shoes of the storeowner and suggest to me how to deal with the lunatics?"
What's makes you think I'm not in "the shoes" now? While I don't or haven't read a group of replys from a particular poster, I can't judge what they're doing to warrant "dealing" with. I don't visit this sight that much, anymore. If I can use b370 replies as an example, he said his piece. If it continued and continued (like some of the foul language I've witnessed on this and other forums) then something should be done or said.
"May we let the moments of stress induced rants triggered by morons be bygones?"
Not sure if you're saying the "morons" are people like us who "surf" to relieve some stress or the store owners you mentioned earlier who may have acted prematurely in deleting a thread. It looked like both parties ranted in the thread and the negative views from just a handful of posters wouldn't take away from such a highly successful site would it.
