Default gas tank leaking

No bolt on replacements as far as other models but there are aftermarket plastic tanks available and most run in the $175 to $200 range. They are available in Red or green (blue was discontinued) but the colors arent an exact match to the Honda OEM colors.

You can use the KREEM brand steel tank repair kits on tanks with minimal rust but it's only a temporary fix and when the liner begins to break apart, that's the last calling card to replace your tank. The KREEM kits usually go for around $30 to $35. Keep in mind than this liner doesnt normally seal tanks well that have anything larger than small pin holes in the bottom.

My suggestion would be to replace the tank with a new aftermarket plastic tank if you intend on keeping this machine for a while.

Default gas tank leaking

thanks. i didn't figure there would be an easy fix. it waws leaking around the outlet and i fixed that leak with J.B. weld and then 2 more show up in other places. fix them and 3 more here and there. you get the picture. It is an excellent running machine so i think I will go for the aftermarket tank. a blue one would be nice but i will go for any of them. I use mine for farm use and with $3.50 gas and $4.35 diesel i miss it.

my next question is who is an aftermarket dealer to get a new tank?
thanks for the help in advance. Kevin
