Default Rear spring

Where would I get a spring and what spring should I get for the rear of a 2000 Honda 300ex. My brother is just too heavy for the current one at around 265. The rear currently bottoms out and sags even on the hardest setting. So I am needing a bigger spring.

Call WorksPerformance....

But...when you change the spring rate the valving won't be correct anymore, so it will need to be revalved. Not sure if that is even possible with this unit (may not be rebuildable).

If you are serious, might have to spend the money on an aftermarket shock.

I suggest them if you have to go aftermarket. I have had their shocks on my 400EX for 10 years now, and they have been superb! Spend the extra money to do the front too.

On the other hand, the little 300 is an intro bike, and rather than pumping money into it, why not step up to a 400 instead???
