I was going to replace the front pads on my 250X but could not get the plugs out that cover the allen head screws. Is there a speacial tool for this a regular flat head will not do the job? I have tride every thing and already ruined one caliper!! if any of you know a good place to get front calipers let me know!

you use a impact driver to get the plugs out

they aren't the best design are they

if fails you should be able to drill them out and clean the thread......careful not to use a big drill size or don't push it in too far
