I consider you both fortunate.

Don't get me wrong they're as good as anything on the trail but as soon as his recon hit even the smallest mud hole they skin over and the bike comes to a sudden but spectacular mud-spewing stop, at which point I have to nose up in my 300FW and push him out in low gear. They've also each been punctured several times, wheras the newer ITPs on my bike have done the exact same riding and more, have yet to receive a hole from anything.

He'll be replacing them with mudlites soon.
