National Gas Strike Friday May 2
Mbrowning, here's why it won't work.
Let's use Exxon as an example.
Mr. Exxon is sitting in his office, feet on the desk, enjoying a nice expensive cigar. His secretary brings him the profit reports for the 2nd quarter. These reports don't show a day by day sales figure. So nobody bought gas on May 2nd. Well, they had to buy it sometime in May, so it has no affect on his profits.
Now, you really want to get their attention? Don't buy gas for 3 months. Then it will show up.
But once you figure out how any of us can go 3 months without filling up, you'll be the one sitting in the office, lighting that nice expensive cigar.

I am buying fossil fuel on friday and going to drive around in a big K2500 state highway looking truck with no air bag needed.
Exxon is tanking today because they missed there earning expectations.
If oil prices remain high and Exxon drifts down to around 80 dollars a share I would be a buyer of that stock if you don't have any.

No thanks. I'm saving that money to open a strip club on the moon when they begin to colonize it. I think its a better investment.
Women will flock to work there because the effects of gravity on their assets will be less.
Know what I mean...
