Default help

I need some help getting a axle out of 2000 honda 400ex on the rear so i can replace the bearings. what side do i need to take off so i can pull the axle thru?

you take the right side apart and it will slide out the left side

Do i need to break the two nuts apart that are side by side.

yes and its a pain in the butt to do.......and dont use pipe wrenchs it really messes them up

I used a big ole adjustable wrench. Didn't require the special wrenches that the clymer book suggests you need that cost 30 bucks a piece and you need two of them.... just an adjustable that will open to about 1 5/8" or more.
