Some one correct me if I am way off base here, but, if you are going to change the sprockets change the chain also. if you put a used chain on new teeth, or new chain on old teeth for that matter, it will prematurely wear out. Ok it might not be as bad with quads, but I put a new chain on old teeth on my cbr F4i street bike and the chain was toast in under 3k miles. This is beacuse new chain and new teeth wil wear together and it is even and constant, but you put either new chain or teeth and they wear to match the wear pattern that the component you replaced. All that equals is your new component wear out 2-5 times as fast. Hope it helps.................

You want us to tell you what size your sprocket is, when you can just walk out to the garage and count the theeth yourself????

This engine is torquey off the bottom....I went down 1 tooth in the front, and even with 22" rear wheels it was way to much! Any time I hit the throtle, the front end would stand up and salute....it got wheelie happy.

My compromise was to just go to 1 tooth bigger in the rear.

Given the age of the machine, it's a good idea to change out everything anyway....sprockets and chain.
