Man, those old big red 3 wheelers could sure take tons of abuse riding, and neglect in service, and keep running...

Overall, I really like the current 500 Foremans (non es) as a general purpose hunting/trail riding/working quad. They are stone axe simple, reliable, and IMHO a good looking machine that shows the refined engineering Honda is known for.

 

I think the 85-86 ATC 250R's are the best looking ATC's (ATV's too) ever. Just an awesome looking bike with great performance. Granted, I am biased because I am 36 and grew up riding 3 wheelers before everything switched to 4-wheelers, and I was in love with these bikes. About 20 years ago I had a 94 ATC 250r which was great but the 85-86's were flat-out awesome.

My one buddy had a 350x which was a real nice bike too, very torquey, and another friend had a 200x which was also a great and very nice looking bike.

 

a 300ex four tax i have a 97 and it the **** my 08 400ex got trashed doing the same **** as the 300ex I dident crash i went off a 120 tiple and the frame snaped in the 400 it was fun for the time tho but if i was going to buy a another quad it would be a 300ex a 97 or 96

 

I have a Foreman 450 S, that I wouldnt trade anything for. I have never had to do anything to it but change the front bearings on the right side. I have done everything from ramming a tree head on, to rolling it over, to drowning it out, and it just keeps on going!

I would have to say a Honda fourtrax 300 2x4. Any year. My brother and I both grew up on them and we definately put them through there paces. There bulletproof and a solid workhorse.

 

id say 82-84 200es big red!!! hey i have a 82 200es do you know if it would push 20-11 paddel tires? i have herd people say it won't just wondering becuse thats the smallest paddel tire i could find on a 9 inch wheel!!!!

 

I would have to say the Honda fourtrax 300. They are simply bulletproof and are tanks. Call take a hell of a beatin and will run forever. Next is the Honda 200s You see alot of these still around and they are just plain and simple and will run forever.

 

not one of you all picked the trx 250r lol first off its won 20 years of racing and every manufacturer has used the frame specs in same way when build a race quad still to this day its best race quad ever made hands down I think
