Thanks MudB..... I know it is down on power to the Yamaha. Probably in every way, however that is the reason I am leaning this direction in the first place. I don't want him to have all that power and ability to rooste, wheelie etc. He can have fun on the TRX, I don't have as much maint to do, and I can get that one past his mom. Not something she or I am willing to do with the Yamaha. It is a infomred parental decision. He isn't Jeramy McGrath.... and I doubt he will be getting much air anyway. It will be a big enough improvement over the Raptor 80 he has now and should keep him happy until he gets to 16. After that we can look at something more if he needs it. It will however probably be a 4x4 Ute though, since we do mostly mountain trail riding anyway. No high speed MX or dune riding in our near future.
