I recently added a 48" Cycle Country plow to my Rancher ES 4x4.I decided to go with the manual lift after trying both the electric and the manual. The manual is much faster and is very easy to use, plus there are no wires to unhook at end of season or switch to break off.Last weekend we recieved about 8" of snow, the kind that is good for making snowballs with.Anybody that says that a plow on a 4x4 atv is wortless, obviously never used one to plow snow with. This rig really pushes the white stuff,I was able to plow three large driveways before my neighbor could clear his off with a new John Deere two stage 8hp snowblower.
My snowblower will be collecting alot of dust, but I will still keep it if we get a really big snowfall. The Cycle Country plow is a quality product compared to other brands that I looked at.It cost $320 + $32 shipping for the complete set up and only took a couple of hours to install.

you've got the exact setup as myself for plowing, works great. I too would highly recommend the cycle country plow and manual lift, works very well!

Doesn't it become a pain having to push that red button with the left hand brakes on before you can shift into reverse?

It seems like a fine safety feature until you have to plow snow, and then it gets to be a real pain when you do a lot of backing up. Maybe I'm just not used to it, but it is real awkward and slow.

Is there any way to disconnect or rewire that switch so that you don't have to push that button?

Just to let everyone know that www.ATVGEAR.com is blowing out CYCLE COUNTRY PLOWS. They are the work power 5 systems. They are selling them for $192 complete with blade. There is NO SHIPPING OR HANDLING, just $192 to your door. I bought kit #10-1060 which if for an 92 and older TRX 300. I made it fit my 86 TRX 250 Utility. Its a beautiful thing at a great price. Just my 2 cents.

We got 16 inches last weekend. This is the biggest snowfall I have ever seen in Nova Scotia in 24 hours. I have a little hill beside the driveway and had a drift up to my chest. My 350 FM with 48-inch cycle country went right through it, once I got the wheels on the ground. I got my CC with manual lift for $479.00CND plus tax locally back in November. He is charging about $80.00 more now.

We usually only get a few inches and I was not sure if it was worth the money. Well after last weekend I can say it definitely was worth the
money.
