are the engines different in any ways? i know body wise its different. and its chain instead of shaft. but is it the same engine? cause i wanna know if a ex aftermarket muffler would work on it. i know the mounting brackets would probly be different. but would it work?

The engines are probably the same thing, and if not, very close. If you have a way to mount the muffler than yes, it will work with your atv but you must make sure you buy the appropriate jets for the carb.

the jets wouldnt be hard to get but id probly see if my friends dad can do them. all i ever see him do is work on 4wheelers and motorcycles and dirtbikes. i could do it but im not patient enough and i hate trial and error. but hes got a old 300ex sitting around and when i get a little bit better ima go see if the stock muffler will at least fit my pipe.
