I had a tie rod end fall apart this weekend. The boot wasn't busted and the ball wasn't rusted so what the hell? Is there a recall or something on these?

 

Yes, there was a recall on the tie rod ends for 05. Honda sent me a notice and the dealer replaced mine at no charge.

Are you the original owner?

Anyway, I'd suggest you contact your dealership, with your vin. They should be able to put that into their computer and tell if the recall work was ever done.
