Default killswitch on trx450r

anyone ever hooked up a killswitch to a 450r. i tried to hook up a pro design to mine and i ran the positive wire into the coil with the main coil wire from the plug. because that was the only way i could get it to work. but when i took off down the road on it if i would hit to high of an rpm or romp on it it would start to die until i let off of it. any suggestions

I plugged one in to the small wire at the coil. It has a male/female plug, so I made a little jumper with the same and then plugged all in line. The second kill wire is grounded to the frame with the coil mounting bolt. This is on an 04 and been been there since 04.
