I'm looking to buy a good slip-on pipe for my 400ex, i don't want to spend over 300. I want one that sound good aint to loud and looks good. I was looking at the WHITE BROTHERS XCR EXHAUST on motosport.com for $225, but dont know if its any good.

I put on a FMF Powercore 4 on mine about a month ago. I love the sound, not obnoxious and the power difference is really noticeable. I picked it up at Motosport for $289 and free shipping.

Did you have to jet it, and do you think that i should put vents in the air lid.

I jetted mine with a 155 main jet and left the pilot jet alone as well as the air fuel screw. I did also put the vents in my lid because I didnt like the idea of running without my airbox lid.

I would just go to your local dealer and get a couple jets separately. I bought the kit but I only needed the one jet out of it. Waste of money looking back now.

Well it kind of far to the dealer it really not worth the gas to go get a couple jets and the local motorsport shop only sells the kits.
