I have read pretty much all of the posts on here about the Foreman ES shifting, problems... im having the problem where it doesnt want to shift. i should but i don't have a service manual, I was just wondering if someone could tell me things to check. I hear that the angle sensor is a common problem however, i don't know where this is located exactly. thanks for any input i really appreciate it. - John

 

Is it not flashing a code..?

 

not exactly sure what you call a code but it flashes the gear its stuck in?

 

You have to count the number of flashes ...

 

it flashes 3 times

I have a Honda 250 Foreman ES with the same problems as Mudwich. I don't have my service manual and I was wondering if the diagram would be the same for mine. The gears will change occasionally and it may work for a little while and then it just stops changing. This has been a problem since summer '07 and I really want to get it fixed!
