I just bought a set of 450r shocks. I've read the forums about how to install them. My question is if your a bigger guy why would have to get them revalved and sprung if the shocks are stiff? Second question i read that if you don't adjust the ride height on the 450r shocks you will wear out your ball joints quicker is that true? if so how do you adjust the height of the shock? by just screwing done the collar on the shock?

 

it should be fine when u install them. my buddy put a pair on his 400EX an hes bout 250 an didnt have to change anything on his shocks.

nope he hasnt had a problem with any of it yet an he also races with his quad so i dont think u will have any problems.
