I have a honda fourtrax that will seem to run fine, and will sometimes run just great for hours or even days. Other times I will be riding along and it will just die, no hesitations, studdering, etc. the engine will just quit. It will not start again until I come to a complete stop and wait 1-2 minutes, then will fire up like nothing happened. Lately it has been doing this every 5 minutes or so while riding. Any idea on what could cause this?

Sorry, I spaced including that. it is an 01 honda fourtrax 300. Its a fourstroke. I thought I may just be starving the carb due to dirty jets (it sat for 3 years with gas in it) , but I went through the carb and cleaned it out real good and it still happens.
