I think if you maintain your bike, including di-electric greasing all electrical connections you will have little trouble with the ES system. Likewise, if you go through very little water, people that do not maintain their bikes may have very little trouble.

 

My own 450 Foreman has a hoaxed chassis. 3rd shift control motor in a year. I heve serviced tons of Honda ATVs in the past which have no problems.
I'm thinking this shift issue is all about me... hehehe
