As a general rule -
blue smoke is burning oil and white smoke is water/coolant........... brown smoke is usually carbon and black smoke means it is too late.....
But what did they rebuild? If they did an engine rebuild I'm sure they did the rings so I cannot see how it would be burning oil, so maybe the blue smoke is something else....
It could be running to rich, but again depending on what they rebuilt they should have cleaned and adjusted the carb......
If this is something they did or didn't fix I would take it back to them....

my rancher 350 was smokin to i put new rinngs on the piston and put new valve seats in it that usually the problem water can damege the valve seats over time but if it is not smoking to bad you might just need to rebuild or clean out the carbeurator.

Is it smokeing after warming up, or just after starting? I rebuid my 350. The original problem was the jug was warped from being hot when I whent in the warter. ( It also had warter in it at one time. ) I had it bored .010" over, and put in a oversized piston and rings. I personaly checked all the clearances with my own mics. Everything was right to Honda specs. It only lasted 12 hours after rebuilding. After tearing down again. I foud that the jug was fine. The rings had worn to over three times the end gap clearance that they had. I talked to sever engine builders, and a Honda shop Tech. Bacicaly it comes down to looks like there was trash traped in the crank case after rebuild. I pulled the whole motor this time to clean it out. There may have been some trash left in the crank case on yours aswell.
