I have seen these post on here before but hadn't viewed them much cause mine is a 4X4. Now I have bought my wife a 420 2X4 and was wondering which winch mount everyone is using with which winch for the 2X4 models. Seems there is some problem with steering interference with some of the 4X4 mounts?

 

On KFI's page, they list a bunch of winches for the 4x2 Rancher (like the RT and XT 25 and 30), and they also list a bunch of winches that will work but will hit the tires, including the Warn 2.5ci and ce, and most of the other brands, and it says the 3.0 ci and ce won't work.

Kappers Fabricating Inc makes nice, powder plated winch mounts that are cheaper than warn.
