450R Clutch not releasing properly!
The clutch on my 2005 450R will not release like it should. When I try to put it into gear it will stall unless I start it in gear with the clutch held down. If coasting to a stop with the clutch held down I need to use the brake or it will creep. This problem is worse when at operating temperature. I tried adjusting the cable on the handle bars and on the engine case. it just made the cable stiffer with no great results. I have not owned it very long and was wondering if I flushed it with type F ATF if this may help? Maybe the plates are gummed up? I'm also thinking maybe if the clutch spring are worn or broken? The ATV shifts great and the clutch don't slip. Any advise would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike

450R Clutch not releasing properly!
I used to have this happen on my old TTR 225 and it is a problem with the adjustment or an issue with the plates. If you bought the bike used, I heard guys take out one of the last spacer plates so it grabs better. I would make sure they're stacked right and go from thier.
