i have 450r shocks on my 07 400ex and they make me sick!!!

 

i have an 05 450 and i went to a 13 /40 sprocket set up and a lowering kit in the front end and i own almost everyone on the trails round here now...we got some old heads that can take the trails sleeping and backwards so they are to keep up with....but average experience guys with raptors and other **** can't hang....

 

Ive got a question for the honda guys is there any major differences between the 04 and 06 450r models??? I have two that I am looking at one an 04 one is the 06.

Completely different motors in the '04 and 06 models. '04 and '05 are the same and then they changed it in '06 to present. Almost identical to the crf450r motor now.
Higher compression, different bore and stroke, different carb,,,,,,,, and the list goes on.

I did not exactly buy it for the wife.........my 19 year old never took to it and the wife kinda inherited it . I got the two of them in a package deal ('05 and an '08 ) from a co worker that needed cash. Short of him offering them to me for cheap- I probably would never have even thought of owning one let alone two .

But they are a blast to ride and I am having a good time playing with them .

ahhhhhhhhh, what is the advantage of lowering the front end ?
