What is everyone's opinion on the best tire for riding in snow? The Relators look pretty cool but I don't know how heavy they are. I'm looking for a tire for my Mojave. In the past I had a set of Carlisle Trail Pro's on a 250X and those tires were so heavy that they sucked power.

Ya get the relators! They are great in the snow and haven't came across another tire that is better.

Easymac,

I can tell you after this weekend of snow riding that the Bridgestone Dirt Hooks are not very good in snow. I plan on using mud tire in the snow, such a Goodyear mudrunners. You can get a 25" tire to fit those factory rims on the Rancher. The 11" rear limits your choices, now if you get a 12" then your choices are unlimited.

wooly boogers....large & heavy, but VERY effective. years ago I pulled a broken down 230 quad sport more than 3 miles through deep snow with a 1985 honda 200X equipped with wooly boogers.
