I ride in fields alot and figured i need the a-arm for the tall corn stalks. Should i go with the PRM skid plate to or does mair offer one

Our Rancher has the Oxlite A-arm guards. These were purchased before learning about PRM. They work great, they are big & beefy. They are steel not aluminum. We have the PRM skid plate on the Recon & Rancher it works good. Make sure they send you instructions? This may sound silly but they didn't send any with mine & it took longer than it should. You will have to bend (modify) the front of the skid plate to fit underneath the factory bash plate up front.

Will the A-Arm guards work on the 2X4 Rancher as well?

Yes, a-Arm guards will work on a 2wd Rancher. The A-arm guards are designed to protect the CV boot & front drive shaft of the 4wd unit.
