250EX vs 250X which one is better?

I didn't mean I was going to buy that one. I think the best one I found would be a 92 250X for $1700.

Forget the 250x, 250ex, and the 300ex. What you need to get is a Mojave. They're faster than all those other quads, have more suspension travel, and they are quite a bit cheaper than a 300ex.

Don't even begin to listen to MojaveJordan, all honda's beat the Mojave by a mile, it won't matter which one you get, it will always kill a Kawie.

Alright, anyone who has the least bit of common sense would have known that I was talking about the 250X, 250EX and the 300EX, hence the name of the post. And by the way, MojaveJordan, I guess you didn't see that I was getting a 300EX, as it says in my signature. When I get that, I'd be happy to kick your butt, just name a time and place.

I have owned a 250x and have no complaints.It was used to train me,my cousin ,and now my15 year old brother is learning on it.It is a very dependable machine with the proper mantainace(as with any quad).And fairly easy the handle.But they are getting old like some guys have mentioned so look for a good one they had some internal flaws(such as third gear).But can be a fun machine.Damn I miss mine!!

lol come race my 330ex with your mojave!

Really, stock for stock, the mojave and 300ex will run side by side. Seen it done.

But on an MX track, and trails, the mojave is done because the handling and suspesion just doens't match that of a 300ex.

I own a '87 250X and I've had no problems except mabey a flat tire or the chain needs tightening. It's all stock except for the mods in my signature. That's pretty good when a 14 year old piston still works. The frame doesn't have any rust or anything. It depends on what you will be doig with it (Trails or Racing). The 250X
is faster and the kickstart always starts on the first kick for me even when it's like 2 degrees. Or you can get the slower but has a electric start and have confidence in it because it's new. Unless you are planning on modding, I would get the 250X. That's my opinion.
