I'm sorry to say but JESSICA, you are wrong. A stock 300ex and a 250X are almost the same except the 300ex is a couple mph slower. Next time you see a 250X, ask to race them and find out for yourself. I have raced 300ex's numerous times and every time i beat them by a hair. I'm not trying to be immature and fight but you are wrong.

I purchased a 250ex to replace a 200sx. I also have my 400ex. The 250 is about 1" shorter in hieght than the 400 and the seat to peg hieght is actually greater than that of the 300ex. I liked my old 300ex for clutch reasons, however for trails I would go for the 250ex and dunes or baja the 400ex. My opinion.

Jessica by saying "i highly doubt that your wimpy 250x can smoke anything, well i'm sure when its broke it smokes" you have just made fun of your own machine. The 250x and the 300ex is basically the same machine. The 300ex is just stroked better but it's needed because of the extra weight. Next time I'm on a ATV trip I'll be more than happy to stop in Alabama and leave you in a dust cloud with my 250x, ofcourse which is modified to run with stock or piped 400ex's. Otherwise stock for stock the 250x and 300ex are the same. You should really read up on your motors before you make a comment like that.

Now the 300EX is out of the picture and my dad thinks the 250EX is better because it is newer. But they will only give us $2500 (Canadian) for my breeze in a trade but my dad wants atleasts wants $3000 (Canadian).

This Is for HONDAKID.. Did you ever stop to think that maybe your friend cant ride? A 250x with those mods tears up a 300ex with the mods you described. I know from experience. My stock 250x keeps up with my buddies 300ex no problem. trails, straights, sand, you name it. For the person who posted this ad.. Find a 250x and you'll like it..

MojaveJordan My 300ex would eat your mojave alive and just about anyone elses 300ex or 250x for that matter would smoke your mojave not to mention 94dgblaster's 330ex would leave your mojave in the dust in 3rd gear. So why don't you go to the suzuki forum and bragg that your wimpy mojave can beat some of their lt 80s. Although someone there probably has one that is faster than your mojave.

Hey borntorace, id say get a 250ex. I have one and its all the bike youll ever need. Its slow but can hang with the better bikes in trails. If the 250ex is too much then get a recon. From what i was told the 250ex is a recon but looks are different and everything is geared a little sportier.
